 Etah Kotwali Dehat and SWAT team got big success Eta. Last day, Kotwali Dehat police station and district SWAT team got a big success. The police have arrested the robber carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, who was wanted in the incident of robbery of a truck loaded with peanuts, after an encounter. Etah police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on the robbery accused who was absconding for a long time. On 12.09.2023, at around 11 am, during checking near Sirao turn, Kotwali Dehat police station and SWAT team saw two persons on a black splendor motorcycle (without number) coming towards Sirao. When the police team signaled to stop, the bike riders tried to run away and started firing on the police team. In the self-defence retaliatory firing done by the police team, the accused Vishnu, son of Kailash Chand, resident of Banthal Qutubpur, Pilua district, Etah, age about 23 years, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, was injured and a criminal Lallan, son of Kaptan Singh, village Bhuriganwa, Marhara district, Etah, took advantage of the darkness on a motorcycle. He fled from the spot, the injured accused has been arrested and sent to the district hospital for treatment. The body of the accused was searched and illegal country made pistol 315 bore, empty cartridges and live cartridges (315 bore) and a motor cycle were recovered from the spot. It is noteworthy in the case that a truck full of peanuts was looted by the accused on the night of 06/07.08.2023, in relation to which FIR 362/23 Section 394 IPC was registered at Kotwali Dehat police station. 17 cases have been registered against accused Vishnu. By forming a team and making meaningful efforts to arrest the absconding accused, necessary legal action is being taken from the police station level.
