Parents thought the children were busy with online learning, but a large number of them remained addicted to online games. In recent times, children have become increasingly addicted to digital media and lifestyle changes. But they thought it was normal. If their parents prevent them from doing so, they will not tolerate it.
Their behavior also seems to be aggressive. Somewhere, there were cases of students committing suicide after their parents. In Kerala alone, the tragic news of 41 children committing suicide in four years has put administration and parents to sleep. Government of Kerala takes new initiatives to free children from digital addiction Six D-Addiction Centres have been started in Palakkad, which provide counselling for children.
The psychologists present here do an Internet addiction test for children who are addicted, to find out what their level is. on the basis of which they are advised For this, where some exercises are done, other creative activities try to get rid of it. There are ten to fifteen sessions of one hour during this time. It's nice to see positive results after four or five sessions. In fact, it's hard to tell digital addicts that they are. They don't even want to admit they are doing something unusual. This behavior is normal for them. But after counseling and a few sessions at the addiction center, they think something is wrong. In fact, the social media network is grazing our society so fast that kids don't even think they are doing anything unusual.

It is pleasing that over the last two years, twelve and a half hundred children have been freed from digital addiction. Children are feeling mentally healthy. In fact, this crisis is not just one district of Kerala but the whole country. which the central government needs to make policy and open a de-addiction centre as soon as possible. Positive results can be achieved in this direction with the cooperation of Centre and States. Volunteer organisations can also play an important role in this work.
