Hathras Baba- 5 star ashram, land worth crores: This is the estimated wealth of Bhole Baba
Hathras : Two days after the Hathras stampede, more information is emerging about the person in whose satsang this incident took place, i.e. about Bhole Baba. This person, popularly known as Narayan Sakar Hari, has a lot of wealth and owns many lands. A total of 121 people died in the stampede at his satsang in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.
Self-proclaimed Baba has property worth crores
The police have seized some documents which show that Bhole Baba has assets worth crores, and this is just a small part of his estimated wealth. According to the documents, he has an ashram in Mainpuri, UP. This ashram is built on 13 acres of land and has "5-star" facilities. The land on which the ashram is built is worth Rs 4 crore.
According to reports based on documents seized by the police, the ashram located in Mainpuri is like a 5-star hotel. It has all the facilities available in any luxury hotel. According to the police, the police think that Baba, whose real name is Suraj Pal, is hiding in this hotel. They found that at least 6 rooms in this ashram are for his personal use. The other 6 rooms are for the committee members and volunteers of the organization.
The ashram also has a private road, but it also has a cafeteria that serves high-class food and beverages. Pal claimed that the land on which the ashram is built was gifted to him. But documents show that he has other ashrams in other places, which are similarly luxurious.
stampede in hathras
On Tuesday, a stampede took place in Phulrai village of Hathras. Police said that out of the 121 people who died in the accident, 7 were children. The incident took place at a satsang organised by Baba and his organisation. The administration said that they had allowed a maximum gathering of 80,000 people, but at least 2.5 lakh people were present in the pandal built for the event.
The stampede occurred when Pal was leaving after the discourse. As his vehicle moved ahead, many people, mostly women, rushed towards the vehicle to collect the dust lying under it as they thought it was Baba's blessing. To control the crowd, volunteers present at the event including Baba's security personnel started pushing people. This caused many devotees to fall and some started climbing on them, leading to the stampede.
