Chandigarh: Haryana government has intensified preparations to complete the Group C and D recruitments of Haryana Staff Selection Commission. After the Punjab and Haryana High Court declared the socio-economic criteria in the recruitment of Group C and D posts unconstitutional, now the Haryana government is preparing to go to the Supreme Court.

For this, the government has prepared the entire case with its top legal experts. It is likely that next month the government will file an appeal against this decision in the Supreme Court. Because the Supreme Court is on vacation right now and the Supreme Court will reopen from July 8.

The Haryana government has decided that a review case will not be filed in the High Court against the decision of the High Court, the only way is to go to the Supreme Court. This entire draft has been shown to Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini.

The government's argument behind going to the Supreme Court is that the double bench of Punjab and Haryana High Court has already upheld the marks of socio-economic criteria. Therefore, the Supreme Court will make this decision the basis. Not only this, the division bench has also praised the Haryana government.

In such a situation, the double bench cannot overturn the decision of the double bench. If the decision has to be overturned, then the hearing should have been done in front of a larger bench (bench of three judges). In such a situation, the new bench also had two judges, which changed the decision of the first division bench.

Haryana's Advocate General Baldev Raj Mahajan says that we will wait for the interim order on the first hearing of the appeal in the Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court stays the decision of the High Court on the first hearing, then the result of the remaining posts of Group C and D will be declared. If there is no stay, then implementing the decision of the High Court, the result of the pending posts of Group C and D will be declared and the recruitment process of the remaining posts will also be completed.

Unemployed youth are running a campaign on social media to get the recruitment completed. Thousands of youth are pressurizing the Haryana government to complete the recruitment. The youth demand that the government should not go to the Supreme Court in the matter of 5 marks, but should go to save the jobs given earlier. Results of the remaining jobs should be released as per the decision of the High Court. The government has made it clear that the Supreme Court will be approached regarding 5 marks.
