Train Accident: Railway Minister reached the accident site, 9 deaths so far, Railways itself told the reason of the accident

Kolkata: A major train accident has taken place in New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. A freight train hit the Sealdah-bound Kanchenjunga Express from behind. Due to the collision, several bogies of the Kanchenjunga Express derailed. So far nine people have died in this accident while 36 are reported injured. This collision took place around 9 am on Monday, when 13174 Kanchenjunga Express was going from Agartala to Sealdah. In this collision, two bogies of the Kanchenjunga Express derailed. There was screaming and shouting everywhere. Due to the collision, the bogies of the train derailed. The administration is busy taking people out by cutting the bogies with a gas cutter.

The Railway Minister has reached the accident site. This place is near Rangapani station in Darjeeling district. Here the Railway Minister is taking information related to the incident from the concerned officials.
