Campaigning for single-phase assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and second phase of polling in Chhattisgarh to end this evening

The election campaign for single-phased assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and second phase of polling in Chhattisgarh will conclude on Wednesday. Polling for all 230 assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh and for 70 out of total 90 constituencies in Chhattisgarh under second phase will be held on 17th of this month.

Voting for the first phase of elections in Chhattisgarh was held in 20 assembly constituencies on 7th of this month along with single phased polling in Mizoram for all 40 assembly constituencies. Today is also the last date for withdrawal of candidatures for Telangana assembly elections. Scrutiny of nominations has already taken place on Tuesday.

Voting in Telangana for 119 assembly constituencies will take place on 30th of this month. In Rajasthan, polling for all 200 assembly constituencies will be held on 25th of this month. Counting of votes for all five poll-bounds states-Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana will be held on 3rd of next month.
