Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Meeting: Key Decisions Expected as CM Yogi Visits Ram's Birthplace

UP Cabinet Meeting: The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet is scheduled to hold a special meeting today in Ayodhya, just before the Diwali festival, where significant decisions are expected to be made. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this cabinet meeting in Ayodhya could result in several important resolutions. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his entire cabinet are present in Ayodhya on Thursday, November 9th, ahead of the grand Diwali celebrations on November 11th. CM Yogi is expected to arrive at the Ramkatha Park around 11 AM, following which he will conduct a prayer and visit Hanumangarhi with his cabinet colleagues. From there, they will perform a ceremony at the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi premises and visit the Sri Ram Lala Virajman Temple.

Around noon, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hold a Cabinet meeting in the International Ramkatha Sangrahalaya (International Ramayana Museum). The CM and his cabinet members will spend approximately 4 hours in Ayodhya, and they will also assess the preparations for the upcoming Deepotsav celebration. All cabinet ministers of the state have been directed to be present in Ayodhya for the cabinet meeting.

The discussion on the expansion of the UP Cabinet is also gaining momentum. Chief Minister Yogi had a meeting with Governor Anandiben Patel on Tuesday. During this meeting, there may be announcements regarding the formation of Ayodhya Teerth Vikas Parishad, Devipatan Dham Teerth Vikas Parishad, and Shukratal Dham Teerth Vikas Parishad, taking into account the significance of these locations and opportunities.

Supreme Court Delivered a Historic Verdict on the Same Day

This marks the first Cabinet meeting of the state in Ayodhya, with the previous one taking place in Prayagraj in 2019. The decision to hold the Cabinet meeting at Lord Ram's birthplace in Ayodhya on November 9th holds immense significance due to historical events on this date. In 2019, the Supreme Court delivered a historic verdict on November 9th, endorsing the construction of the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Additionally, on November 9, 1989, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) laid the foundation stone for the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
