Bulandshahr News: Police Encounter with Cunning Criminal Leaves Culprit Injured
Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh: A police operation is underway in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, as an encounter with a cunning criminal occurred on Thursday morning. The Syana police had a face-off with a criminal on a motorcycle. During the confrontation, the wily criminal, Arvind, sustained a leg injury from a bullet fired by the police.
The injured Arvind has been admitted to a government hospital in a serious condition. The Superintendent of Police in Syana, Bhaskar Mishra, revealed that Arvind was involved in 11 cases of theft and robbery across various police stations in Bulandshahr, Hapur, and Ghaziabad districts.
Narrating the incident, Kshetradhikari Bhaskar Mishra of Syana in Bulandshahr district stated that Inspector Shailendra Pratap Singh and his police team were checking suspicious vehicles and individuals at a checkpoint on Thal Tiraha in Syana. During this operation, a youth on a motorcycle tried to flee upon seeing the police team.
The police team chased the criminal, and the motorcycle skidded off the road as he attempted to turn onto Chak Road. Feeling cornered by the police, the criminal fired at the police team with the intention to harm them. In self-defense, the police retaliated with gunfire, injuring the criminal, who was subsequently apprehended.
The injured criminal, identified as Arvind, is a resident of Holi Chauraha in Kasba and hails from the Syana police station jurisdiction in Bulandshahr district. He is receiving medical treatment at CHC Syana for his gunshot wound. The police have seized illegal weapons, ammunition, and a Splendor motorcycle from his possession.
According to Bhaskar Mishra, the crafty criminal Arvind is facing 11 cases in various locations across Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Bulandshahr districts, making him a significant threat to law and order in the region.
