Movie Review, Pushpa-2: Pushpa again came to bow down the world; Allu Arjun's never seen avatar

Allu Arjun starrer most awaited film Pushpa- The Rule has been released. The length of this crime and action thriller film is 3 hours 20 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given the film a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5.

What is the story of the film? Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), who was a simple laborer in the first film, has now become the biggest smuggler supplying red sandalwood. He deals in thousands of crores. Obviously, his enemies have also increased. SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahad Fasil) has not yet forgotten the insult he faced last time. He keeps launching a campaign against Pushpa and his associates every day.

No amount of praise is enough for the dance and action. This time Allu Arjun has done something that he might not have done before. The action sequences he has done while wearing a saree are rarely seen.

Also, Fahadh Faasil may be playing a negative role, but his mischievous style is very well-liked. Sometimes angry, sometimes joking, his facial expressions are also amazing. It will be fun to watch his face-off and banter with Allu Arjun.

It is important to talk about Rashmika Mandanna here. This time she has got more screen time than last time. She has also done justice to her role.

How is the direction? Sukumar has done both the writing and direction of the film. Sukumar has extracted the best work possible from Allu Arjun. In fact, he has extracted more from him.

The story is absolutely fresh and has been crafted in an interesting way. The action scenes are amazing. The dialogues are also well written. However, there are some shortcomings. In the end, the film has been unnecessarily dragged. 20 to 25 minutes could have been trimmed easily. Sukumar missed a bit this time in making the film crisp.

The film's cinematographer also deserves praise. He deserves praise for the larger-than-life way in which he has depicted locations and action sequences.

How is the music of the film? This time the songs are much cheaper than the previous film. The standard that Samantha had set with 'Oo Antwaa' in the previous film has completely fallen to the abyss here.

There are many songs, but not even one is worth dancing to. Only Allu Arjun and Rashmika's dance in one or two songs has made it bearable. There is no harm in saying that the songs of the film are the weak link.
