Pushpa 2 movie review There is a dialogue in the film that Pushpa does not create as much ruckus on the first entry as it does on the second entry. The sequel of the 2021 blockbuster film Pushpa the Rise i.e. Pushpa 2 the Rule has entered the theatres. The second entry has really proved to be a ruckus. If the previous film was fire in terms of acting, action, story, dialogue, cinematography, then Pushpa 2 has proved to be a wild fire on the screen. The average aspects of the film are its length and songs, but it is a paisa vasool entertainer, which keeps you completely engaged, which is worth watching in the theatre.

This time the story is about Pushpa's bike and her niece's self-respect

Pushparaj means he is ready to do anything for his self-respect. In this sequel also he is living his life with the same swag. Now he is meeting politicians also. When Pushpa's wife Shrivalli (Rashmika Mandana) comes to know that her husband is going to meet the Chief Minister of the state, she asks him to take a photo with him so that she can put it in her house and show everyone that her husband is in touch with such big people. Pushpa asks the Chief Minister to take a photo for his bike, but the Chief Minister says that he can take party funds from a criminal like him, but cannot get a photo taken. His image can get spoiled. This time it is not about Pushpa but about the self-respect of his bike. Then what. He decides to change the Chief Minister, but this change is not so easy. Ultimately, he will have to bribe other leaders, only then can he change the CM. For this big change, he needs 500 crores and all this will come from the smuggling of red sandalwood. Due to which this time the smuggling has reached the international level instead of national. But this smuggling is not going to be easy because from the first part itself IPS officer Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) is angry with Pushpa. He is just like Pushparaj in stubbornness and obsession, so can this coup happen? What will happen to the enmity between Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and Pushpa? Not only in professional life but also in personal life, Pushpa is going through a lot of ups and downs in this sequel, which brings her closer to the Mulethi family. Will the Mulethi family accept Pushpa and her mother? Part 2 answers all these questions. By the way, along with the story ending in this part, it also tells that in Pushpa 3, not only Bhairon Singh Shekhawat but someone else will also be against Pushparaj.

Pros and cons of the film

The length of this film is 3 hours 20 minutes. Usually a film of this length means that the matter is cumbersome. The length of the film could have been reduced by 20 minutes. There is no denying this, but the matter has not become cumbersome. The film keeps you engaged from the beginning till the end. It entertains you. This film shows stubbornness, passion, respect along with action. There is also plenty of comedy. The scene of bribing the entire police station has been made well. The scene of taking a photo with the CM is also entertaining. However, it is not that everything in the story and screenplay is entertaining. The way the fear was created by the character of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat in the first part, it has not been able to come in the story. The screenplay does not have the ups and downs in the enmity between Pushpa and Shekhawat, which was expected. We have been watching the action of South films continuously for the last decade. This film also has a lot of fight sequences with acrobatics in the air, but the way director Sukumar has made Allu Arjun do two big action sequences wearing a saree, it gives a different level of touch to the action of the film. Generally, there is a complaint about South films that women are not respected. This complaint was also there with the first part of Pushpa, but director Sukumaran has completely removed this complaint in his sequel film. All South masala films need to learn a lesson from this. Earlier, many male characters have worn saree on screen, but till now it has been used only for comedy, but Pushpa 2 sets a different direction in this matter. Director Sukumar's vision has to be praised here too. The cinematography of the film is its important USP. Which shows the world of red sandalwood on screen very effectively. The dialogues of the film are also lively. Actor Shreyas Talpade has once again made the character of Pushpa effective with his voice. Talking about the flaws, this time the film's music is the weak side of the film. The songs of the film were as good as they were in the previous part. This time the matter has remained weak. The background score deserves praise.

Allu Arjun is back in action

Talking about acting, once again Allu Arjun has made the character of Pushparaj special with his swag and style. In the film, he shows his emotional side along with action, comedy, romance very well. Fahadh Faasil has not got much space in the film but whenever he comes on screen, he spreads his shine. This time he has lived his character with a tadka of comedy. The scenes and dialogues between him and Allu Arjun are funny. Rashmika does justice to her role. This time she has got effective scenes too. The rest of the characters also do justice to their roles.
